Univ.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Joachim Jankowski

Joachim Jankowski is an expert for isolation and identification of biomarkers and mediators involved in genesis and progression of essential hypertension and chronic renal failure. He has been the director of the “Institute for Molecular Cardiovascular Research” (IMCAR) since 01 May 2014 at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen. .

Our next Cardiorenal Seminar will take place on March, 22nd at 05:00 pm in Maastricht, Jo Ritzenzaal (ground floor), Oxfordlaan 55 Dr. Reinier Boon, Dept. of Physiology, VUMC, Amsterdam, the Netherlands will have a talk titled "Non-coding RNA in the cardiovascular system".

The Institute for Molecular Cardiovascular Research (or as a brief acronym IMCAR) has been established at the Medical Faculty of the RWTH Aachen University in April of 2006 and is dedicated to pursuing scientific excellence in the field of vascular biology and atherosclerosis research.
